Separated from mainland Australia by the 240 km stretch of Bass Strait, the island state of Tasmania is a land apart.

High quality fishing waters at Bronte Lagoon, the Dee Lagoon and Lakes Echo, Brady and Binney are minutes away from Highland Waters. Nearby Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park offers walks through the ranges and lakeshores, as well as fishing and boating in the deepest lake in the southern hemisphere.
To the north of Highland Waters lies one of Tasmania’s most famous fly fishing lakes, Little Pine Lagoon. Highland Waters is also one hour from Mt Field National Park, and twenty minutes from the refurbished resort town of Tarraleah, where there is a delightful highland golf course.
